Objectives & Goals


To work for integrated/holistic development of rural tribals and dalits, women and children and also to get it done through others.
To undertake study/ research in the direction of health, education , environment, agriculture and human value based life and culture. And also to get research/study done through others.
To work for wider dissemination of empowering and relevant knowledge/ information through various means including orientation and training and also to get it done by others.
To work for social justice and social reforms. And , also to get work done in connection with justice and reforms through others.
To ensure environmental equity and justice through ensuring livelihood rights and rights over resources and due claim in welfare schemes
To operationalise pro-poor laws.
To carryout programme for the development of weaker sections.
Integration of marginalized in the mainstream without loosing their identities. To ensure space for marginalized in the core of mainstream and not in periphery.
To raise issues of livelihood rights on one land and raising economic level of community through income generation programs and better management of natural resources and commons.


Field Area

As per Society Registration act the field area is entire Chhattisgarh . However, ASM is currently working in following clusters of villages in Chhattisgarh:

70 villages in Bodla tehshil, Kabirdham district, Chhattisgarh

20 villages in Dondi Lohara Balod tehshil, Balod district, Chhattisgarh

50 villages in Pandariya tehshil, Kabirdham district, Chhattisgarh

40 villages in Kanker tehshil, Kanker district, Chhattisgarh

20 villages in Tamnar tehshil, Raigarh district, Chhattisgarh

55 villages in Bhanupratapur tehshil in kanker district in Chhattisgarh
